That&#8217;s because the people of China don&#8217;t go lightly with their explosives. On Chinese New Year, Beijingers are unleashed, and for two weeks, there is no sleeping. The entire city sounds like a war-zone as a blitzkrieg of fireworks and smoke fill the streets.
